Dedication to one’s craft will ensure success, this is my motto.
Hi, I’m a twenty-one year IT professional with twenty (20) years of proven
Tandem experience. I’ve worked with organizations such as Bell Canada, the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Nortel, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
(CIBC) and now Emergis Inc. In every role I’ve provided the level of dedication
required to succeed.
Currently, I’m working on a drug adjudication application as a Senior Applications
Developer. I'm also mentoring junior employees in various HP Nonstop technologies.
Previously, with CIBC I was the lead SQL developer on their CHIP EMV (smart card)
initiative. More specifically, I was responsible for implementing the card holder
database upgrade to support EMV data elements. In addition, I was the technical
lead for the fraud management (PRM) upgrade to version 7.0. Given that our card
holder database touched ABM, POS and Remote Banking (Internet/Telephone) environments,
much planning was required to limit the impact on service. All the while, I was looking
at CIBC practices with an eye for improvement. For example, I put forward a proposal to
develop a set of TACL scripts to streamline the implementation efforts. I also conducted
lunch and learn seminars.
Strive for responsibility and have a vision. This is another of my driving principles.
I was the director of a consulting firm which provided application support for the RCMP's
national electronic messaging system. I served in this role for sixteen successful years.
At its peak, this messaging application processed approximately one (1) million TMF
transactions per day and linked every police agency in North America.
If what you read here and in my accompanying resume interests you, I’d be more then
happy to meet so as to discuss my qualifications further.
